Capital Projects and Facilities Procurement is excited to announce a new online bidding process for its procurement of construction projects and programs. We are modernizing through technology in efforts to make it easier for contractors to do business with us. The new bidding system will provide cost savings to contractors and to the University.
When is it happening? This new process will begin the week of November 26, 2018.
Solicitation responses or bids will be submitted electronically via the HuskyBuy bidding portal. Applicants will need to have an account to participate. There is no change to users to set up an account.
We will help you! Training sessions are being schedule for anyone interested in learning how to submit responses or bids in the system. The first two sessions are listed below.

Please join us Tuesday, November 13, 2018, as the University of Connecticut hosts an outreach event and open forum to provide valuable information regarding opportunities for UConn’s Capital Program and obtain feedback from the construction industry. Various resources will be present to assist Connecticut-Based and Small/Minority Business Enterprise (S/MBE) contractors on how they may participate in UConn’s Capital Program.
